Welcome to the website of the North Bend Senior Recreation and Activities Center in North Bend, Oregon. If you are new to the website, or if you have never visited the North Bend Senior Center in person, then please accept our invitation to tour our website and visit our senior center in person at your earliest convenience. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.

Many people hesitate at first to come to the senior center. Some worry they might not know anyone. They might be shy, or they might wonder whether they still have something important to contribute. The truth is, you possess a lifetime of accumulated knowledge, skills, experience, and wisdom to share. You also have personal qualities that make you a unique individual and an interesting person for others to get to know.

When you come to the senior center, you are not required to have special talents or endless energy. Simply showing up is enough. A friendly smile, a conversation over coffee, or participation in a shared activity or project can brighten someone else’s day as well as your own, and bring a renewed sense of purpose and connection to your life.

Whether you have an interest in joining one of our weekly activities, attending one of our monthly events, sharing ideas, helping with projects, or simply spending time with others, there is a place for you here.
